The Consular Office of Japan in Christchurch has suspended consular services at Forsyth Barr House due to damages resulting from the earthquake on 22 February 2011. Some consular services have resumed at the Temporary Office. For all visa enquiries please contact the Embassy of Japan in Wellington (Tel. 04-473-1540, email: japan.con@eoj.org.nz) as the Christchurch office is unable to process visas at the moment.
