The Wellington Sakai Association held a Cherry Blossom Festival on Sunday 20 September 2009.

11:00 - 12:15       Kyudo demonstration (St James Theatre)

13:30 - 14:15       Ikebana demonstration (Marae, Te Papa)
14:30 - 15:15       Tea Ceremony and interactions (Marae, Te Papa)
15:30 - 16:30       Collaboration of Japanese/Maori music (Marae, Te Papa)

 

'Discover Japan' Workshops in Napier

The Japan Society of Hawkes Bay held a series of 'Discover Japan' workshops for members of the public on 10 October 2009 (Taiku no hi) at Napier Boys' High School.
