From vibrant streetscapes and seasonal festivals to serene everyday moments, show us what makes Japan special to you. Selected entries will be proudly displayed at Toi Aro as part of our feature exhibition. See below for the details how to join the contest!
About the Exhibition
Following the overwhelming popularity of our Hokusai exhibition last April, it is back by popular demand! Discover the evolution of Japanese visual culture across centuries as the Embassy of Japan proudly presents a unique cultural exhibition bringing together a beautifully preserved complete copy set of Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji by Katsushika Hokusai, 15 classical Edo-period Ukiyo-e prints, and 20 selected modern photographs submitted by the public.
Photo Contest: Call for Submissions!
Have you visited Japan in the last 3 years? Share your best photographs capturing the essence of modern Japan—its vibrant streetscapes, architecture, festivals, and daily life! Selected works will be printed on high-quality display boards and exhibited at Toi Aro alongside historical Ukiyo-e artworks.
